Leading the way to the Pacific Islands...

From humble beginnings over 40 years ago, operating from a small office on a South Auckland wharf, Reef Shipping has thrived and diversified to become a dynamic force in South Pacific shipping.

Today Reef Shipping has offices located in Auckland's CBD and is proud to operate a fleet of modern, & versatile multi-purpose vessels, specifically geared for the Pacific Islands and which enable us to offer a complete cargo solution to all of our customers.

Our vessels can accomodate almost any cargo and type you can think of, including containers, breakbulk cargo, oversize machinery, over length consignments, vehicles, boats and more. This versatlity also ensures that we can service some of the more challending Pacific Island ports, including Niue for which we offer a lighter service. We offer scheduled services and port rotations from New Zealand & Australia's major ports into the Pacific Islands and we also offer a transhipment service from Asia into the Pacific Islands utilising our partnership and strategic alliances with several worldwide carriers.

To complement our Auckland base, and to ensure the Reef name and flavour carries through to all of our origin & destination ports, we have comprehensive and experienced agency partners in all ports we service, charged with caring for our customers needs on a local level.

Reef Shipping is also heavily involved in the development and support of many local Pacifc Island events, charities & projects, most notably with donations and freight assistance to the Loto Taumafai Special Needs School in Apia, Samoa, and with generous support & sponsorship of the Cook Islands national sevens rugby team.

You can be sure when you book your cargo with Reef Shipping we will offer our full range of services to ensure a timely and satisfactory delivery of your cargo to your destination and will show you why we believe Reef is leading the way to the Pacific Islands.
